Your school is free to schedule tests at your convenience. The digital tests for Reading, Listening, Spelling and Basic Math as well as the paper-based Writing tests are taken collectively in class. The Speaking test is administered individually (teacher with student). Please plan accordingly and allow sufficient time to organize the oral tests.

We recommend that, in the week prior to the tests, you review the sample tests together with your students in class. Your students can also complete these sample tests on their own. The sample tests consist of a limited number of questions to familiarize your students with the question format and how to answer.
Please ensure that you select a sample test corresponding to the level of the actual test you plan to administer.
The administration and assessment of the tests is done using the LVS BES test platform. To work effectively with the platform, we recommend keeping the Test Platform Manual LVS BES at hand and/or watching the instructional videos.
The digital tests Reading, Listening, Spelling and Basic Math are automatically assessed by the test platform, the Writing and Speaking tests are assessed by the teachers themselves on the test platform.
Teachers should familiarize themselves with the ‘Points to consider when assessing Writing and Speaking’ to ensure fair and reliable assessment.
